Getting There:
An hour north of Christchurch, hidden high above the award-winning Greystone vineyard, right in the heart of the Waipara Valley wine producing region. Your journey to the Greystone PurePod starts as soon as you turn into the Greystone vineyard, and pass by the Cellar Door (feel free to stop for a wine tasting or to pick up a bottle of Greystone wine).
The unpaved road winds its way through the vineyard up to the PurePod car parking area - you may even see an occasional flock of sheep in the paddocks between the vines.
From the carpark, follow the 650m walking track as it winds its way through some regenerating native bush to the PurePod.
Dinner and Breakfast Hamper:
Choose between bringing your own supplies or ordering a delicious dinner and breakfast hamper when booking. The dinner features a delightful platter of local cheeses, relishes, and crackers, along with the chef's choice of salmon, steak or chicken. It's accompanied by a fresh seasonal salad, gourmet potatoes, and a brownie. For breakfast, enjoy organic muesli with yogurt and a croissant. You can add the hamper to your reservation at the checkout.
Your PurePods Experience: With the Teviotdale Hills behind and views up the Waipara Valley across to the Southern Alps, the Greystone PurePod provides a beautiful setting for you to immerse yourself in your own private slice of the New Zealand landscape.
And with the glass walls and glass roof, there is absolutely nothing to interrupt your view of the beautiful landscape and night sky. The PurePod provides all your needs, from a fabulous shower and flush toilet to fresh linen and a well-equipped kitchen with a gas hob and barbecue. We also offer tea, coffee, and milk. Enjoy games, local books, and stargazing with a telescope. Relax in luxury camp chairs on the deck or lounge in the comfortable bed while nature entertains you.

Cancellation Policy
By completing this booking you confirm:
- you are aware there is a 650m walk from the carpark to the Greystone PurePod and while this only takes 5-10 minutes to walk it does include a stile at the beginning as you cross a fence line and a few steep steps along the way. The track can also get a little slippery following wet weather. Good news for those of you with mobility issues we can provide alternative instructions for this PurePod which will enable you to drive pretty much right up to the PurePod and this is the only PurePod location without steps to access the PurePod. Please note the alternative instructions are only available to guests with diagnosed mobility issues as we arent able to use the alternative route for every booking (high-use of this alternative track would impact adversely on the operation of the vineyard).
- you are aware PurePods reserves the right to charge a fee to cover unexpected cleaning costs or damage incurred during your stay.
- you are aware should you disregard the stringent no smoking rules a fee of $300 is immediately payable.
- you are aware the maximum occupancy of the PurePod is 2 adults (no pets and no children allowed)
Amendments and Cancellations
You can amend or cancel your booking with no extra charge up to 14 days before your reserved stay. If you need to cancel your reservation and it is between 14 and 7 days of your reserved stay we will refund you 50%.
If COVID-19 restrictions prevent you from travelling to your PurePod experience we will be happy to waive our normal notice period so you can postpone or cancel your stay.
A credit card processing fee of NZD20.00 may also apply to cancellations.
Any refunds will be made to the same credit card you used to confirm the booking.
