Dinner and Breakfast Hamper:
You have the option to bring your supplies or pre-order a dinner and breakfast package when booking. The dinner features a delightful platter of local cheeses, relishes, and crackers, along with the chef's choice of lamb, beef, or chicken. It's accompanied by a fresh seasonal salad, gourmet potatoes, and a sweet dessert. For breakfast, enjoy organic muesli with yogurt and a berry compote. You can add the hamper to your reservation at the checkout.
Getting There:
90 minutes north-east of Christchurch, perched high above the Greta Valley coastline. Your journey to the Atatū PurePod starts with a scenic drive through a beautiful and historic farming area. Take your time and enjoy the scenery, which switches from rolling farmland to forest and back to farmland again. At the carpark, leave your large luggage items in your locked car (it will be safe), then follow the 750m walking track as it firstly follows a farm track before gently winding its way up through the native bush.
Optional Activities:
Guides Farm Tour: Learn about the rich history dating back to 1850 on this one-hour drive through the farm as the farmer shares some of the challenges and triumphs of the original family settlers.
Mountain Bike Ride Trail Map: Off-Road looped 8km trail map with beautiful views towards the Hurunui River Mouth and the Pegasus Bay coastline.
E-Bike Hire: Enjoy the mountain bike trail with an E-Bike.
Your PurePods Experience:
Every direction you look from the Atatū PurePod there are beautiful views, from the rolling hills dotted with sheep, to the snow-capped mountain views out the bathroom window, to the endless sea views.
The PurePod provides all your needs, from a fabulous shower and flush toilet to fresh linen and a well-equipped kitchen with a gas hob and barbecue. We also offer tea, coffee, and milk. Enjoy games, local books, and stargazing with a telescope. Relax in luxury camp chairs on the deck or lounge in the comfortable bed while nature entertains you.

Directions
The Atatū PurePod is just 90 minutes north of the Christchurch Airport, along State Highway 1 to Greta Valley, before turning off the main highway for the final 25 minutes drive towards the coastline. Detailed directions will be emailed to you.

Cancellation Policy
By completing this booking you confirm:
- you are aware there is a 750m walk from the carpark to the Atatu PurePod. It starts with a nice flat walk following a paddock fence line then after you pass through a farm gate you start to gently climb uphill firstly along a farm track (where you can watch the sheep frolic in the nearby paddocks) then through a patch of native forest full of birdsong before a final wee push uphill to the PurePod.
- you are aware PurePods reserves the right to charge a fee to cover unexpected cleaning costs or damage incurred during your stay.
- you are aware should you disregard the stringent no smoking rules a fee of $300 is immediately payable.
- you are aware the maximum occupancy of the PurePod is 2 adults (no pets and no children allowed)
Amendments and Cancellations
You can amend or cancel your booking with no extra charge up to 14 days before your reserved stay. If you need to cancel your reservation and it is between 14 and 7 days of your reserved stay we will refund you 50%.
If COVID-19 restrictions prevent you from travelling to your PurePod experience we will be happy to waive our normal notice period so you can postpone or cancel your stay.
A credit card processing fee of NZD20.00 may also apply to cancellations.
Any refunds will be made to the same credit card you used to confirm the booking.
